What is a Digital Waste Transfer Note?

A Digital Waste Transfer Note (WTN) is an electronic version of the paper Waste Transfer Note required by UK law whenever non-hazardous waste changes hands. Under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, every waste movement must be documented with a WTN that includes details about the waste producer, carrier, receiver, waste type, and quantity.
